The End of the Road Show

The End of the Road Show is a community festival, held on August Bank Holiday weekend, show-casing and celebrating the wealth of talent we have in Penwith, as well as bringing exciting music from well-known West Country acts.

Half a mile from Lands End, in the Sennen Churchtown village hall and surrounding grounds, the Festival offers a wide variety of entertainment and activities for all the family.

Saturday will have a traditional village fete feel to it - with an emphasis on local, sustainable and "green" produce, creative activities and acoustic music.

The Sunday will be an eclectic mix of live music, theatre, dance, and more green stalls. Family friendly during the day, the festival will become a bit livelier as the dusk draws in, with up-beat, danceable music in the marquee. With open-sided marquee, beer tent and a big-top, as well as the village hall this will be a great event whether the sun shines or not.

A sandcastle competition, school art week, and balloon race in the months leading up to it, this festival is planning to become a year-round community-building project for the Lands End peninsula.

Free entry Saturday, by ticket Sunday (under 14s free) Website: www.myspace.com/endoftheroadshow Contact: endoftheroadshow@hotmail.co.uk Enquiries: Hugh on 01736871276 or Will on 07765792687   more info...
