St Mawes	Saturday 6th December 2008	Christmas Lights will be switched on outside the Arcade, The Square, St Mawes at 6pm on Saturday 6th December 2008. There will be carol singing and mince pies. The Parish Council’s Carols in the Castle event will be held in St Mawes Castle on Saturday 20th December 2008 commencing at 7pm. There will be readings, carol singing and entertainment by St Anthony Noyse and St Mawes School children. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served afterwards.
Truro	Wednesday 19th November 2008	Lights are switched on on 19th November at 7pm combined with City of Lights Parade. Grand Firework Display afterwards on Lemon Quay. Late night shopping from 19th November 2008 every Wednesday until Dec 17th until 9pm. More info Truro TIC 01872 274555.

Cadgwith	Saturday 6th December 2008	Christmas lights switch on the 6th December at 6 pm with carols, Father Christmas, mulled wine, mince pies etc.
Camborne	Saturday 6th December 2008	Late night shopping tbc. Market stalls, mulled wine, hot chestnuts and Edwardian costume. Lights switched on on the 6th of December at 4.30pm by Tom Daley. Mousehole	Saturday 13th December 2008	Christmas Lights switched on at 7.30pm on the 13th December. Road closures from 5pm. From 6.30pm there will be activities around the harbour side. For 1 hour on December the 19th the lights will be switched off in remembrance of all those who lost their lives on the Penlee Lifeboat Solomon Browne in 1981. Lights end on 4th January 2009. Fowey	Friday 5th December 2008	Lighting ceremony and arrival of Father Christmas 6.45pm Gather outside the Church for carol singning with a local brass band 7.00pm Switching on of the lights 7.05pm Childrens procession behind brass band to meet Father Christmas, who will arrive at Berrils Yard, accompanied by a salsa band 7.15pm Father Christmas travels to Town Quay by horse and trap 7.25pm Father Christmas distributes gifts to children on Town Quay. Also, Friday evening, traditional Christmas Fayre in the Town Hall, starting at 7pm. Charge of £3 per person, which gives you a glass of mulled wine and plenty of food. There are stalls and a raffle. On the river, off Town Quay, the salsa band will be making exciting music for your entertainment. In one of the marquees on Town Quay, come and join in as we are having a free ceilidh starting at 8pm. Listen to the lively music, or even better, have a dance as we start the weekend festivities. A great evening for all the family.

St Austell	Tuesday 25th November 2008	Lights switch on at 6pm. Late night shopping 25th November, 2nd, 9th, 16th December. Late Night shopping until 9pm, Market Street closed Join Tim Ley and Gus Honeybun in St. Austell from 6pm. As well as the light switch-on, there will be a parade through the town, entertainment, street traders and of course a chance for you to shop at some of the great stores in the town.
