Kitesurfing in Cornwall

Watergate Bay

Kitesurfing is one of the newest extreme sports and Cornwall has the ideal facilities for every kitesurfer whether you are trying kitesurfing for the first time and just need a taster session or if you are an experienced
competition kitesurfer.

In September 2002 Cornwall hosted the 1st European Kitesurfing Championships
at Watergate Bay, near Newquay.

Other beaches in Cornwall which are well known for kitesurfing include: Marazion; and Carlyon Bay on the South Coast; and Hayle Towans; Gwithian Bay; Perranporth; and Daymer Bay on the North Coast.
